New Look YHA Group Site Launched
It’s official, the new style YHA Group site is open for business. I hope you find it easy to use and to find what you want (unless you’re a spammer, in which case I hope you find it more difficult to bombard the forum with rubbish!). Do wander around and tell me what you think.
However, this site is missing one important component, You! The old site was allowed to whither on the vine because nobody seemed to visit it or contribute to it. If nobody posts to the forum, nobody will read the forum, so nobody posts there and down it goes in a vicious spiral.
It’s the same with news stories - I’m going to try to keep this site up to date. More importantly, I’m going to grant access to other people working in YHA and in local groups so that they can keep it up to date too. However, I need your help in feeding stories and other content into the site. It’s not just news either, if you’ve got something that will amuse or inform group members I’d like to publish it here.
I believe that a vibrant local groups’ web site can make an important contribution to the development of such groups. For example, I’m sure we would not have gone through the recent “name change” fiasco had there been a forum to talk these issues through early and in public. It will only work, though, if you get involved.

Hello Chris, thanks for getting this off the ground again, very much out of things these days, retain my membership of the YHA but not practicing anymore, due to personal non single life circumstances.
